Module std.text

Public declaration contracts and authored examples. A page can document several related symbols. Implementation bodies are excluded.

ParseError

pub enum ParseError

Distinguishes malformed invariant numeric text from an unrepresentable value.

Parsing returns an error value without allocation, exceptions or logging. This type retains no input view. Integer input is fully consumed; callers explicitly trim text before parsing if surrounding whitespace is desired.

ParseError.InvalidSyntax

InvalidSyntax;

Input fails the selected invariant grammar.

ParseError.OutOfRange

OutOfRange;

The mathematical value cannot be represented by the requested type.
