Getting started
A small program. A clear starting point.
Welcome to Sn
Sn is the SnAPI programming language, a statically typed native systems language under heavy development. This guide introduces the language's shape; it is not a promise that every documented goal is complete in the current compiler.
Your first program
module hello;
from std.io import Print;
fn Main() -> i32 {
Print("Hello from Sn\n");
return 0;
}Each file declares its module. Imports select the names used by the file. Main supplies the program entry point and returns an integer exit status.
Toolchain access
A public installer or binary download has not been configured for this website. Use a toolchain provided by the project; no installation command is invented here. The compiler is called snc, and its development workflows include checking, JIT execution, and native AOT compilation. Consult the help shipped with your toolchain for its exact options.
Read this documentation
Start with bindings, functions, and control flow. Use the language reference for exact forms and the standard-library reference for public API contracts and examples.
Check the version
Use the version selector to choose current development documentation or a dated snapshot. A documentation snapshot records the reference content on that date; it is not a stable compiler release.
